Mendocino County Request for Proposal for EOA Provider for Emergency Ambulance Service

The County of Mendocino and Coastal Valleys Emergency Medical Services Agency have released the first Request for Proposals for the Exclusive Operating Area (EOA) for Mendocino County.

Request for Proposals: The County of Mendocino (County) is a political subdivision of the State of California. State law confers on the County’s Local Emergency Medical Services Agency (LEMSA) authority to designate one or more emergency ambulance service providers. The County of Mendocino’s LEMSA is Coastal Valleys EMS Agency. The County of Mendocino is conducting this procurement in cooperation with its LEMSA and is seeking a qualified Ambulance service provider to deliver these and related services in accordance with the expectations set forth in the RFP.

2019 KP 15th Annual Trauma Symposium

Course Description:

Kaiser Permanente Medical Centers continue to be devoted to the excellent care of all trauma patients in Marin, Sacramento and Solano Counties. The 15th Annual Trauma Symposium is dedicated to this mission. It features local, Bay Area and national speakers discussing a broad variety of current trauma issues. EMS Special Memo Release, 1/9/2019

Coastal Valleys EMS Agency has released an EMS Special Memo 19-001 providing interim guidance for extending the time interval of Stroke symptoms onset.  This Special Memo allows CVEMSA to implement potential lifesaving changes to the Acute Cerebrovascular Accident Policy 9303 prior to the completion of the protocol revision process, July 2019. The update to the Acute Cerebrovascular Accident Policy 9303 is effective immediately upon release.
