Update: Due to the multiple fires in Sonoma County we are cancelling the EMS Stakeholder meeting scheduled for Tuesday, October 10th. We will reschedule when once the situation stabilizes.

On September 25, 2017, Sonoma County Department of Health Services Director Barbie Robinson sent a letter directed to EMS System Stakeholders (pdf) in regard to the EMS ordinance revision and stakeholder engagement process:

Following the direction provided by Director Robinson, the Sonoma County Department of Health Services (DHS) and Coastal Valleys EMS Agency (CVEMSA) are convening an EMS workgroup. This workgroup will have the opportunity to engage with various aspects of EMS in Sonoma County, including the establishment of non-competitive operating areas, designing an Request for Proposal for the Exclusive Operating Area serving Santa Rosa and surrounding communities, and updating the Sonoma County EMS ordinance, as well as other issues that arise throughout the process.

The first meeting will take place on October 10th from 1:00 to 2:30 PM at the Sonoma County Water Agency (details below). The initial meeting is open to anyone interested in participating. We hope you can make it.
